The experience of entering and leaving the St. Enoch Subway station in Glasgow is dotted with bustling activities, street performers, musicians etc. While most cities discourages such activities by making them illegal, The city of Glasgow welcomes this as an charming compliment to the city's street life.

The pedestrian corridor proposal concretizes this gesture. It was conceived as an organization of these activities in a seamless plastic flow. It gently brings pedestrians up from the subway station to street level and further upward to a retail concourse level connected to shops, galleries, etc. The corridor acts like an unfolded theater that it is experienced linearly and inverted so that it is the audience that moves while the performance and stage remain fixed.
